Owners Committee Formation

Description

This service allows the Community Management Company (CMC) to apply for the formation of an Owners Committee, enabling eligible owners to nominate themselves, cast their votes, and obtain approval from the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre.

Steps

• Log in using UAE PASS or visit the service centre.
• Select the community, then click Next.
• Select the grace period end date, then click Next.
• A new screen will display the application details. Review all details and click Submit Application.
• A confirmation message will appear indicating that the application has been submitted successfully. All owners will be notified and given the grace period to pay the service charges, if not already paid.
• Once the grace period ends, attach the list of properties with outstanding service charges, then click Next.
• Select the nomination and voting timeline, then click Next.
• A new screen will display the application details. Review all details and click Submit Application.
• A confirmation message will appear indicating that the application has been submitted successfully. Owners will be notified of the nomination schedule and relevant dates.
• Once the nomination period begins, owners can access the application to submit their nomination requests, then click Next.
• Upload the required documents, then click Next.
• A new screen will display the application details. Owners will review all details and click Submit Application.
• A confirmation message will appear indicating that the application has been submitted successfully. The application will be forwarded to ADREC for review and approval of the nominees list.
• Once approved by ADREC and the voting period begins, owners can access the application to cast their votes after reviewing the approved nominees list, then click Next.
• A new screen will display the application details. Owners will review all details and click Submit Application.
• A confirmation message will appear indicating that the application has been submitted successfully. The application will be forwarded to ADREC for review and approval of the voting results.
• Once approved by ADREC, access the application, review the final approved committee members, assign member roles based on the first meeting election, enter the committee contact details, and select the financial auditing company. Then click Next.
• Download the template, obtain the members’ signatures, and re-upload the signed document. Upload the meeting minutes, then click Next.
• The application details will be displayed. Review all details and click Submit Application.
• A confirmation message will appear indicating that the application has been submitted successfully. The application will be forwarded to ADREC for final review and approval.
• Once approved by ADREC, a confirmation message will appear indicating that the application has been completed successfully.
• Your application has been successfully completed. You can now download the Owners Association Committee Formation Certificate.
