The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) announced the Abu Dhabi Digital Twin project during GITEX Technology Week 2022. The department will be able to employ 3D augmented reality to assist and enhance decision-making processes as a result of the initiative, which is claimed to be a significant step forward in the emirate’s creation of a digital and geographic information system.
